​Lead Electrical Engineering - Taipei

  • Drive definition, implementation and validation of new architectures of electrical systems on our VR product roadmap
  • Lead the development of electrical systems for VR including signal processing chipsets, displays, sensors, RF, physical interfaces from early design to production
  • Work closely with the different technical leads within the hardware and software teams, including embedded systems, computer vision and mechanical engineering
  • Perform research and development of prototypesfor future components and products
  • Specify, evaluate, define and select components to be used in next generation products
  • Develop relationships with key technology vendors and partners, defining custom solutions and roadmaps


  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in integration of products components including microcontrollers, SoCs, data and video interfaces like USB, DisplayPort, HDMI, MIPI, HDI technology board design for consumer electronics
  • Experience in real-time video processing using FPGA
  • Experience in driving teams and contractors remotely and in-person
  • Experience in using high speed digital equipment, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
  • Expertise in solving non-trivial problems under time pressure
  • Expertise in technical architecture in electrical engineering, RF, firmware, system software or video signal standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Strong English language skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% time
