Unity Build Engineer

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join one of the most ambitious studios in the games industry.

Currently working on the adaptation of the highly successful PAYDAY franchise to the mobile market in collaboration with NBC Universal, we are looking to secure the services of a talented, multi-skilled, passionate Build & Release Engineer to join our Platform Team. This team interacts with all of the studios other teams (Art, QA, Client, Server, Design) and makes their jobs easier.

The Role:

You will be responsible for our automated game-client build and release pipeline as well as providing build & release support. You will also be analysing and improving client and asset build processes as well as git branching strategies in order to further streamline workflows therefore making the development of ambitious mobile games more efficient.

This is a cross-discipline role, where you get the chance to interact with all departments and have a big impact on the game development process. You will work closely with our Game Development and QA Teams.

With state of the art offices in Barcelona, the studio focus is developing a mobile mid-core F2P title which is setting a new standard of AAA quality in this sector.  

Experience:

1 year of experience as a release manager or build engineer.

  • Git & GitLab
  • Shell Scripting (Bash)
  • Hyper-V
  • AWS
  • Groovy & Powershell

Requirements:

  • Experienced working with git and git branches
  • Experience using OSX and bash
  • You’re an experienced programmer (ideally C#, Unity, Python)
  • Ideally you have experience with getting an app into Google Play or Apple’s AppStore
  • Collaborative team spirit with excellent communication skills
  • You love helping others
  • You love learning new technologies
  • You’re a Gamer
  • Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of challenging projects from beginning to end
  • Experience with global IT operations and services including AWS, Github
