UI Artist
As a UI Artist, you will be responsible for development and fulfilment of 2D and UI art for PAYDAY 3 Live within our established art direction. You will work closely with our UI/UX Lead to create and manage 2D assets, whilst being involved at every stage of the process, from early inception through to implementation.
Responsibilities:
Create UI assets and deliverables that live up to the aesthetic and technical goals of an established product, including layout, typography, iconography and motion graphics;
Work on an established IP and contribute by delivering visually appealing, informative and responsive user interfaces in support of UX designs, gameplay and product goals;
Work closely with production, UX design, programming and game design to produce solutions to meet product goals.
Requirements:
Experience creating UI art and influencing UI/UX development within games development;
Strong knowledge of layout, typography, iconography and motion graphics;
Proficient in 2D art packages such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects;
Experience with implementing and managing 2D art assets within game engines, preferably Unreal Engine;
Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
Desirables:
Experience prototyping in Game Engines;
Experience working with Figma;
Prior experience and/or an interest in graphic design for advertising;
Experience working with UMG and Unreal Engine widget creation;
Basic knowledge and understanding of game development code.
