Senior Animation Programmer (Project Baxter)
We are looking for a Senior Animation Programmer to join our Project Baxter team. You will be a key contributor, pushing features forward and working on various aspects of our games. You will be very involved with our characters, helping the animation team directly and writing tools to improve their workflow and prevent performance issues. Acting as a crucial middle layer between the engine and gameplay programmers, you will ensure seamless integration and collaboration. While a core part of your work will be on Project Baxter, you will also be a part of our team working on other titles.
Responsibilities:
Work with the animation and design leads to create animation systems that support the gameplay needs of our titles;
Edit and improve existing animation features;
Support the technical animators in creating rapid prototypes;
Create, manage, or troubleshoot Blueprints in UE5;
Mentor the animation team to improve their understanding of our integration and animation systems
Requirements:
Experience working as an Animation Programmer on multiple AA+ projects;
Experience working in a C++ based game engine;
Experience with designing and implementing locomotion systems;
Experience with Animation Blueprints and Animation Graphs.
Nice to have:
Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 and or 5;
Experience in multiplayer games;
Experience with physics driven animation like ragdolls;
Experience with procedural animation;
Experience implementing melee combat systems.
