Lead Heists, Forge Adventures
At Starbreeze, we believe games are more than just entertainment – they’re a way to bring people together. From the pulse-pounding, cooperative heists of PAYDAY to our upcoming Dungeons & Dragons adventure, we create experiences that thrive on teamwork, strategy, and the thrill of emergent gameplay. Our mission is to build vibrant games that offer infinite replayability, allowing players to forge their own stories and adventures together.
Every Starbreeze employee helps shape this vision. Whether you’re crafting intricate game worlds or developing the systems that bring players together, your creativity and passion will drive the future of cooperative gaming. Join us in our journey to create innovative, immersive experiences that unite players and redefine what gaming can achieve. We are committed to diversity, inclusion, and providing a supportive experience for all employees, ensuring that everyone can contribute to our shared success.
A quick-guide to our hiring process!
-
Our team will review all applications and shortlist those who align best with the role requirements for review by the hiring manager.
-
We will reach out to those who the hiring manager has confirmed interest in to complete a 30-45 minute pre-interview. The aim of this is to get to know you a little better, as well as answer any questions that you may have to ensure that the role, project and Starbreeze as a whole is aligned with your preferences, motivations and aspirations.
-
Candidates will be invited to a 1h follow up interview with the hiring manager. The focus of this interview will be a deep dive into your craft skills, as well as being able to provide more detailed information about the day-to-day of the role and project.
Depending on the role, we may also invite you to complete a short test at this stage.
-
Successful candidates will be invited to an interview panel, each 1h with two interviewers. Here you will have the chance to meet representatives from the craft that you are interviewing for, as well as representatives from crafts that you will collaborate closely with. These interviews will continue the focus on your craft skills, as well as our company values, and the behaviours and mindset that we expect of our colleagues.
For some roles, we will invite final candidates into the office to meet your potential colleagues in person and have a tour of our facilities.
-
Following this, the successful candidate (hopefully you!) will be contacted with an offer to join the team.
What more do we offer?

Competitive salaries with annual reviews, generous occupational pension, and referral bonuses.
